I sometimes miss the Enna from before the Higurashi concert. Back when she was actually putting in effort for stuff behind the scenes, and despite being the runt of not only her gen but the entire corpo at the time she was still nurturing her community of fans which in turn rewarded her with a huge boost in popularity. The original Aloupeeps will be my beloved forever and ever, one of the better communities in vtubing before the sisters took over.

Shiori is an interesting case because we haven't seen someone be the undisputed runt and then collab. Mori, Kronii, and even Ame were actually quite strong in their heyday. Bae doesn't exactly count because she was upfront about her interests at-debut time.
The numbers since Shiori decision are muddied with a combination of less overlap and ENReco, so we will need a lot more data to make any conclusions.

Pretty much. She is just unique in terms of the games she plays, the way she streams, her voice. A ton of people don't watch and will never watch her and she'll always be a runt but she also has a dedicated audience. Dedicated enough to stick around even after all of this and I don't think that would be the case for some of the other girls.

Sana has some other stuff going however like her weird model and also getting suddenly Susan'ed like 4 times chopping her down into a huge runt.
