Yes, exactly. Magni was asked to help achieve an impossible task and Vesper didn't start fighting with management until after he got his 2.0 design. While the marriage rrat is curious that wouldn't explain why the guys were suddenly fired and Kronii didn't start acting cold towards Fauna until almost 6 months later (which is likely when Fauna told the others that she was thinking of leaving Hololive).

Cover only forbids relationships between management and talents. There are no rules about talents dating each other since that would be illegal and couldn't be enforced in a contract. Still that isn't the reason that Magni and Vesper were fired since their last membership content connects to the last collab they had with Kronii.
