>>21868494I get it. Change sucks at first. But once you start making moves that will better your situation, no matter how much it may intimidate, you will be glad you did.
I'm in the middle of changing jobs right now. Don't want to, but I have to. I like what I'm comfortable with, don't like the idea of having to go somewhere totally different with totally different people and a different schedule and such. But I have to otherwise I will run out of money if I stay unemployed. Just gotta bite the bullet and get it over with. I'll be glad I did later down the line.
It may take you some time to get up the courage to change yourself/your living situation/whatever it may be for the better. But, sooner is better than later, and if you wait to long you're very likely to become complacent. And that can be something that's hard to crawl out of. Lord knows I've experienced that too. I once stayed for years at a job I hated instead of going where I really wanted to, because where I was at I was making comfy and easy (but also low) pay and because I was scared of going somewhere new and messing up. One day, I just decided I'd had enough and I went and applied to a really well paying job that I wanted, and wouldn't you know, I got it. And it didn't even end up being difficult.
That spike in motivation will come one day, likely in the form of a burst of anger or sadness, and in that moment, you will gain the strength to start making changes.
And don't kill yourself anon, otherwise I'll be sad
