>how? and yet asking about someones day isn't?because we are using energy to 'argue' about something completely pointless but me asking how your day was is a way to segway into a more meaningful discussion.
>I thought that was nice?it was more backhanded than anything
>what about youI went for a walk with my mum which was nice because I hadn't seen her in a while.

>people in south brazil are indeed more reservedthat's funny. its a strange phenomenon that ppl are more reserved depending on the temperatures in their geographic location. I wonder what the cause of this is.
>considered quite open.when you compare them with the scottishyeah I mean they are still Brazilian so its not suprising, your country seems to have quite an outgoing and sociable culture in general.
I wonder if people from the colder parts of argentina are super reserved by comparison xD
> I just really can't imagine itI don't know about this situation specifically but ive found often times people who arent used to people showing interest in talking to them often worry that people have bad intentions if they suddenly start acting more friendly unexpectedly.
I've failed a lot of social interactions because someone was trying to talk to me and I just assumed they had alterior motives because I wasn't used to people being nice.
>sorry for the late replyits ok man pls don't worry about it.
