He does do some arbitrage, but afaik he mainly does regular trading based on models, correlations etc. It's not all automated.

just get a volatility scanner and sell high iv strangles. that's literally all you have to do. if one of your strikes goes in the money (that would be bad), then hedge the position with stock. iron condors are a waste of time. not necessary to buy protection. just hedge using the underlying when delta get's too big.

you make an income from gambling on a derivative (vanilla option), not from holding the underlying value producing equity. AKA gambling, unless you've an rudimentary understanding on Brownian or Heston notational trading setups for risk management.

Right, but the stock market is specualtion, with a slight long bias. The best indicators of VWAP and TWAP, but you can only benefit from that scalping, short term and if you've got a fast / close enough line to the exchange. If you're day trading stocks as an ordinary investors, you're better off statistically betting on horses. Horses are less complicated than the diverse range of human behaviour (reflected in the market).

I've been picking up amzn every time it goes down do to trade talks. The last time it went down was when Trump talk about mexico tariff if they don't stop the flow from central amerca.

Picked it up at 1785 or something, just sold it yesterday. Made 10k profit in that trade. Before that i had amzn during the turn of the year and it was down due to: trade talks. Those talks resolved, and again I made like 25k profit.

In my opinion the SP 500 is too elevated, and while we are not in for a slump, you need a lot of capital to make any serious money. For example, putting 60k on a stock, is worrisome. If you just starting out, buy the dips.

Protip: watch BP. If it hits 39, buy it for the dividend. Then make sure you get BP gas for you car. Sell at 44. Thats the moving band. Rinse repeat.
