In the Big Bang episode the pandorica/ Pandora’s box is found and opened. It was under stone henge. The episode could be strongly interpreted to have a lot of allegorical meaning of you are schizo enough.
In the end the pandorica/ Pandora’s box is used to reset or rather create and save the universe when doctor who, the universes proverbial saviour and messiah, finds it and uses it.
