>>18694199Carmody Jefferson is idly wondering if she should try to stand, or try to check herself out of the hospital. She's never actually been hurt this badly before, and the sense of her own vulnerability and fragility is unfamiliar. The fog in her head has started to lift, slightly, but every bit of her upper body hurts; the slightest touch brings peals of cold agony. In her condition, the bed feels like a prison, but perhaps a temporarily necessary one. She wants to get stronger. Get better. Maybe even get even.
"Miss Jefferson? There's someone here to see you. It's one of the wrestlers, A--" Carmody hadn't noticed the nurse there.
>"My sister Colby? No..... no, send her away. I can't talk to her, not like this.""No, it's....." The nurse squints at the illegible writing. "Axe Rolando?"
Colby blinks. She doesn't know any 'Axe Rolando,' but right now she's willing to see anybody who's not Colby or Lightning Nika.
>"Oh, yeah, I know 'Axe.' Send her in."The nurse leaves with the message.
