>>1637501Anons from when /jp/ was new and not strictly regulated, many of them having transitioned from /a/, while others set up retreats on other sites like CirnoIsAGenius and what would become iiChan. Admittedly, I'm not 100% if any of them really are from that far back and I'm just a single anachronism among their number as the only couple I've deeply inquired on the subject no not of 4chan before the /a/ split, but many of them act in a faction reminiscent of old /jp/ in demeanor. All I am certain is that it's enough Cirnoposters to run a forum in any other situation, and good-quality ones at this. One side project that is pending is reestablishing contact with iiChan via PixelCanvas and hoping to build relations from there, as while they're low traffic in their current state they have many artists among their number and it would honestly be reassuring to see more of us in communication after drifting apart over the course of a decade.
Picking up the pieces and trying to build something functional from them. I've discovered enclaves of nineballs I didn't even know existed living and dying over the period of 2007 to now. And yet, I see a hundred of us gather in a single thread on /bant/, so I know there is still a following to account for.
