>>15422704I made it through all 100+ episodes while I played guitar. It was a bit of a slog because there were a lot of filler episodes, but totally worth it. The core story about humans becoming decadent and nihilistic after they achieve singularity and can live forever in robot form was way ahead of its time. I liked how they used the railroad as a metaphor for death and Maetel as the reaper.
