Its a great thing you are interested in Russian literature, its full of masterpieces. But I guess I'm being a bit biased here. Zweig isn't really a Russian writer. In fact, he is Austrian. A very interesting author, easy to read and captivating. He mostly focuses on outlining historical events, but also has some fiction.
