>>10765265I think it means 'raw' in this context(?). I really have no idea, though. Doesn't help that it's Kanji, which can have multiple meanings.
>things have deviated from the "norm" and now seem to be heading back to it.If you're talking about 'trad wives', that's probably more of a local phenomenon. I mean have you ever heard someone say that irl? It is definitely what I'm looking for, anyway.
>If they knew how bad things really are, wouldn't they choose differently? How many portrayals of the industry can you say are positive, though? I swear in every movie or whatever with it as an element, they're almost always portrayed as the bad guys, and this's coming from those very people. So, when someone says they want to be a star, one can't really feel bad for them, considering all this. They know the stories, they've been warned, and everyone knows the term 'selling out'.
>isn't working all day only to be able to afford the bare minimum a sort of slavery in itself? For sure, yet there're plenty of people who do manage to break free from it. I wouldn't say they're deserverving of it, but it one think that maybe they have done something to deserve it. Whether that's their bad habits or what, I dunno. But it raises a tough question: Why do some people remain poor thru generations, and seemingly no matter how hard they try? One could argue it's the system, but that'd be to take the blame off them completely. Whatever it is, let's hope there's a solution.
>Why is your medical system the way it is?Couldn't say. It's things like this and economics that illude me for the most part. It is partially funded thru the taxbase, though, if you're using Medicare. But that's just insurance, not exactly a replacement for the health care system in general. It's just one of the many things we need to work on, so it saddens me the capital can't seem to do anything but squabble, while the pressing issues remain unsolved.
