>>717580Ah nice! It's a fun series. I kinda get the appeal now, but I could only really see this working in small doses.
Kinda sad that Dementia's character is utterly pointless.
>>717672>lso how to play Bayonetta?First and foremost, get a handle on her odd jumping mechanics. You can essentially get four "jump" movements out of her through jump, up b, side b, jump.
Next is managing her landing lag which is honestly something I have trouble with. There are ways to do it so I would try looking those up.
Bayonetta, despite her looking like it, is not a rushdown character like Fox or Sheik. You have to play with opponents a bit more and bait then punish.
Also hold off on witch time. Everyone knows it's dangerous as hell but the time-stop drops off every time you use it during a stock.
Her down-a spiked at the stiletto tip and her down smash also spikes at the front tip of the shoe.
Hold down on literally any attack of hers and she'll continue firing her guns. It's kind of high risk, low reward though so don't depend on it too much.
Also some of her moves change a bit depending on how long you hold them. For example her up-B "witch twist" varied depending on how long you hold it, ranging from minimum damage/knockback to higher damage/knockback.
Her grabs are fucking useless unless your opponent is at high % and at the edge of the stage. People kind of know this so they often leave themselves open to be grabbed because they don't expect you to be a fucking madman.
