The female brain is forever part-child, because it facilitates child-rearing (bonding; sympathy; patience etc.). This child-like element persists well past their fecundity; and where a society has turned its back on motherhood, the childish traits and behaviours which would otherwise be sequestered to mothering, become channeled into whatever fad or consuetude is du jour.
Hence, females being the vanguard for nearly every asinine, viral "trend"; and this being irrespective of their station in society (stations which are increasing given via D. E. I., than earnt / meritorious).
