You can't see God not because he is invisible but because he is infinite raw power. Exposing yourself to him just to see him would kill you. So God is bigger than the entire universe, beyond all quantum levels of existence, infinity itself, and seeing him will kill you.
He has only shown his presence and voice through angels.
