Professional atheists don't use this objection against theism because it is arguably the most idiotic one.
God is outside time, he is immaterial, he is not extended in space. He is not bound by the laws of nature because he created them in the first place. An eternal creator is not bound by time, an immaterial creator can't be created.
When we say that everything that exists has a cause, we are talking in physical terms. God is not physical, the Universe is.
