Today I just went into my local college for orientation and I will say that those fucking horror stories of college campuses being really fucking liberal is 100% real and I got a full fucking blast of it.
We had badges to identify our groups that were sorted by majors and you could put these little ribbons on them that would tell people your major or other traits about you, and i saw an LGBTQ + Ally ribbon kinda featured among the rest with a fucking PRONOUN sticker sheet right next to it.
one of the guys in my group was not only openly gay and wore the LGBTQ ribbon, he was also DISABLED. He used a walking stick to get around. Shitskins everwhere as well.
We had to attend little presentations set up by three college professors. The first two weren't that bad, but the third one will keep me from sleeping at night
