Just checked the Google Earth and as I thought the cycle lanes are not new, the imagery dates back to last year ( we are globalized and pozzed ) . Although I cycle through there often, I never noticed these marked cycle lanes, which are unusual because they are so narrow and short, but also because cars often park along there as you can see, rendering it useless, theres another cycle lane further down on the other side of the road that I could also have seen, so its unlikely I missed them due to cars being parked on top of it all the time. These little chevrons I circled also look strange.
