And like dogs they are probably BORN full of parasites and need worming which is extremely difficult and will normally only lower the creatures parasitic load if not done diligently over time.
You see the thing about parasites is - like the devil - you never see them and they have you convinced that they are not really there. They use your wishes against you. People don’t want to know. And so the creatures thrive.
