I've known multiple people who've turned in to junkies after getting a subscription for some kind of opioid and after years of popping pills they were cut off. They turned to street drugs to get their fix. They turn to their friends/family and ask them to get a script and sell the bottle to them.
About 15 years ago the government caught wind of the scam and started to crack down on it. In 2017 the US gov actually went after hospitals and doctors for their drug dealing. This is why in the last few years junkies have exploded across the USA. Why so many white junkies exist. They once had a job that allowed them to have Health care, they got injured and got a subscription. All while trusting the doctor/hospital knows/cares about what they are doing.
Now, keep this in mind when the exact same people are pushing trans bullshit.
