An actual "conspiracy" I hundred percent believe?
2018 Scripal (former GRU officer and MI6 spy) incident was an open retaliation act by Russia against NATO country for killing of few dozens of Vagner mercenaries (apparently all former GRU officers) on the Euphrates left bank in Syria by NATO forces. Russian government not only did not tried to hide this retaliation act, but almost openly turned it into reality TV show and diplomatic trolling, showing to the NATO, that we can plain and simply send our agents for the targets in NATO country, but they cannot do the same in Russia, or they will hide such facts from the general public in case.
A stupid audience could not fully grasp this level of trolling at the time, and people still don’t realize how British counterintelligence fucked up if they couldn’t prevent these obvious operatives from entering the UK.
But this is a relatively minor conspiracy that was not widely discussed in / pol / at the time in 2018.
