Both Sol Invictus and Jesus are associated with light and rebirth.
Both figures represent the triumph over darkness—Sol Invictus physically through the return of sunlight and Jesus spiritually through his role as the Light of the World.
If the sun were to die out what would happen to humanity? We would die and there would be no rebirth, we will stay dead forever without his light. It is only through the grace of the sun that dead things are made into living things over and over again.
Even our corpses when our time to die comes will be taken in by the earth and the earth will give birth to more living creatures, this is only possible because the sun exists. IT IS THE GRACE OF THE SUN THAT ANIMATES US, OUR SOULS COME FROM THE UNBREAKABLE WILL OF THE SUN
What would happen if Jesus did not die for our sins? (in christian mythology at least) we would never ascend to heaven
The sun is directly responsible for our existence and survival, without the sun nothing would have ever happened, we were made in his image literally, every single cell in this planet is to some degree or another touched by the power of the sun, we are animated to life by the power of the sun, our farms are powered by the light of Sol.
Literally if you go without looking at the light of the sun for too long you will get depression.
Sol = The one true god.
Zoroastrians were pretty based worshipping fire but the worship of the sun is the ultimate dab against the darkness of the universe.
Even my fucking country has a sun in the middle of its flag.
