In my dream. He passed judgement upon this world. He wiped out entire nations and peoples for their evils against us and against nature itself. He did what we were not able to do. He eradicated evil. He was a force of pure light, pure good.
He like us, was a man of great mercy, but he; being wiser than us, put his empathy and compassion aside and saved us all. By eradicating the evil once and for all.
He possessed a great and terrible power. A power not seen in millennia. A power that our ancestors once held. As the gods who they once were. Unfortunately the sins of our forebears, made us; their children; mortal. The sins the gods committed with the men of earth, the men of their own creation. were heinous. Their sins, condemned the god's own progeny to life, as petty mortals. Undifferentiated from the god's own creation. Except for our innate abilities.
We were born wounded and we did not know it. We were born cut off from our own birthright. Through no fault of our own. Our empathy and compassion being our greatest weakness. Compassion for lesser men, crippling us and preventing us from doing what's necessary and eliminating those who transgress against us.
I dont remember much more other than the actual sin of the gods. When the gods made man, they mixed their divine blood with that of creatures of the earth. And that created man. And the god's own lust took hold. Both male and female gods bred with their own creations. Contaminating themselves and dooming future generations of gods to be mortal like the men of earth, like the god's own creation. But a subset of gods kept themselves pure and did not sully themselves with the beasts and men of earth alike. There was a war of the gods. Between those who wanted to extinguish humanity and those who wanted to continue to commingle with humanity. The destroyers won. But the earth was ruined and they left the survivors to their fate.
