>>10755483Whether or not you believe in God, I like to believe that humanity has evolved a soul. Like we have a metaphysical sense to know when it's there and when it's lacking.
On a day to day level, we still see it. In our relationships with family and friends and community (what's left). A trip to the museum, a peak of nature, a line of poetry. But on a collective level, especially through our media, it's gone. There's a vacuum in it's place to be filled with product though, for however long that will last.
But I like to believe that if someone could get the chance to show everyone even a modicum of soul, people will naturally flock to it. Sadly, our caste has been locked out from the spotlight.
Soul is bad for their business model.
