God exists in actuality, He is THE sovereign person in all of existence, and He is the same then and now and forever, the living God. Doesn't matter what you or other people think "Christianity" is right now, some current religious interpretations of scripture might be dead, as was prophesied to us for our current church age in Laodicea (self-righteousness of the people).
