the AfD is a party made for the gullible. Just like various populists before, they promise simple solution to complicated issues. Notoriously known for their sensationalized outspokenness, the AfD are copying Trump's way of free press through scandals. Their idea of a functional government is simply ant-democratic, once again showing the similarities between the far right & the far left. The shit thing is: quite a lot people seem to fall for their propaganda, so you can count on them being represented as in the Bundestag. Unfortunately, it seems as if this country is going down a path of nationalism that will (in the lomg term) result in major harm to the economy of Germany and Europe as a whole. If only people in the middle would once again realise how important their votes really are.
