Satan's endgame is to pull the maximum amount of human beings in Hell with him. How to do so ? In reality magic can't do much to people except if you really indulge in it willingly. The human soul has a natural barrier against that stuff. Unless you're intoxicated, really sick, or you literally ask for being possessed, nothing will happen to you.
99% of black magic is just intimidation. It works when people believe it can torture them or send them to Hell just by itself. It's a lie, but it's part of the plan, just like the most powerful families indulging in it is part of the plan. The idiots at the bottom think that in order to become powerful you need black magic, and they fall into it.
The reality is the black magic is just about begging the help of shayateen (demons) with a whole bunch of rituals which are disgusting and vile for the reason that this is the way you soil your soul. You commit these heinous acts, you commit idolatry by begging to someone else than God, and for a bunch of jinns who aren't even superior to humans.
That's how you gain your ticket to hell. How to escape this ? You just repent and avoid those circles, that's as simple as that. And if you're really scared of the supernatural stuff, you just get roqya done on you and you're good.
The biggest consequences which can arise when you indulge in black magic is other men who can blackmail you because in order to enter their circle you must have done some crazy disgusting things.
