Well no, I kinda doubt it. I doubt the man is sincere. He is seeing his past flash before his eyes or some shit, sees his death coming and like a coward begs for forgiveness to avoid the fire. No dice, imo. but I am not Jesus so I don't actually know.
As if this man would get in while the virtuous man who committed one sin before his untimely death would not. Jesus will judge us. And he will look at the whole man.
