TL/Dr is basically visual storytelling via TV and video in general is so new the human brain hasn't fully adapted to it yet. Which causes weird phenomena psychologically speaking wherein the subconscious mind misinterpts the stimuli. Thinking that what it see's occuring in video is in fact actually occuring or has occured. Which naturally can cause a whole cornucopia of potential problems. It's also why if you hadn't noticed if you don't keep up with the latest "it" Tv PROGRAMMING and PedoWood Big screen PROGAMMING. You wind up not quite "fitting in" with your peers and society at large.
