>>13533642A lot of low-functioning autists have these similarities. It's like some sort of default setting they got stuck on because they couldn't develop their own personalities and opinions. They can only react to things, not analyse them. And our boy seems to love being an example of that. Read up on the most common symptoms, he fits almost all of them.
>i imagine any actual good role model was driven awayThat's why they say only professionals can handle these people. And I mean handle, not help, because they can't be cured. There's nothing to cure them of even, because they've always been like this. Schizophrenia for example, which one tends to only develop, can actually be cured in certain cases. But there is no cure for people on the autism spectrum, nor is there a concrete treatment, it's all improvisation with them.
Oh fun fact, did you know that people with down's syndrome can develop their own kind of autism in addition to it?
>unless its one to catch a certain kind of clienteleWouldn't they use him on /trash/ then? Though I guess it's much easier to identify posters here, so also much easier to catch them. Especially seeing how ready they are to talk to each other on discord and even show their faces and reveal their whereabouts.
>aint a lot of the visitors to this site in solitaryAre you calling me crazy?
Well, though I like to observe people with obvious mental issues, it's not like I'm free of them myself. What I have is rare but treatable. It works in phases, which means one day I might actually be free of it. But it requires a lot of mental self-control, as the treatment involves psychotherapy, not meds. I'm so abstinent because it's a good exercise for this. So that question from above didn't age very well, huh...
