Delilah D. Doyle sits in her office, using her downtime to catch up on some recent matches. In particular, a recent bout involving the Japanese wrestler MADDOTAKO catches her eyes. Even in defeat, Delilah finds the technician to be the more impressive performer of the two.
So far, Delilah had only competed in hardcore matches. They weren’t a matter of technique, or skilfully targeting an opponent’s limb to soften it up for a submission, but of pure violence. Her goal of impressing Cassie Kade with her performances in these matches had failed miserably, and she had come away from them with nothing but a few concussions.
But a more technical form of wrestling, and against an opponent like MADDOTAKO? It’d be an impressive win if she could pull it off, exactly the sort she was after. And even if she lost, she’d have at least surely learned a thing or two from the experience that'd give her a better chance against future opponents. Yes. This was her path forward.
Delilah swiftly sends an email to Spaghetti Dog, informing him of her desire to be MADDOTAKO’s next opponent. Then she grabs her bags and leaves, heading to the ring located below Club Xtacy for some training. <@1093507746369916978>
