Many totalitarian ideologies def have root in Plato's Republic, esp. for their unitary views. Many themes in totalitarianism take inspiration there. Such is the case with Fascism and Natsoc ideology. Hitler saw communists demonstrations, for example, and noticed their totalitarian themes with the red banners and their effects on the crowd, so he borrowed from them. The same aspects can be found in Plato's Republic, except natsocs espouse that view with race.
