People here say stuff they don't actually mean, and put on fronts, and the small talk is only for the sake of doing it, not because of any actual interest they have in you. Everyone says stuff to seem how they want to be seen, rather than how they actually are, and I guess that's natural.
What happened with you and that Moldovan guy is probably a good example. Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't he get mad at you at first because you said some stuff while posting elves? While being all nice to you in the past? I don't think someone who actually cares about someone would get mad at them over something like that. They care more about their image or whatever here. It's just fake.
That mundane talk you make isn't anything real, either, even if it's often and easy to do, I mean, it's just forcing conversation with the same people every day about how their day went or whatever. No offense, it's just soulless, although if you do enjoy it, more power to you. It's just how one-sided it is that makes me sad looking at what you're dealing with. You might really care, but, pretty much nobody else does, there are very few people around here who do. They'd rather have their hugbox they come to everyday staying how they want it to be, than having anything more to do with you or what you're bothered about. I think you can have people you consider friends around these places, sure, but, definitely not in the way that goes. It sucks to not be able to help but care about imageboards, but, it's what it is, I feel you.
If you just simply wanna talk with people, it's really not hard to find people that will, the internet is a big place. Starting over isn't bad, either. Don't get so attached to one place where you're not wanted anyway.
