you are nayeon-biased? i am sana biased myself but nayeon is definitely a bias wrecker
i finally got gud at into the breach. i'd been stalling and had hit a plateau but then i literally only changed one thing and suddenly i'm beating the game almost every time. wasn't buying new gear/weapons before, just autistically spending all my points to get cores to upgrade mechs, though i couldn't even think of getting new gear until i maxed out my mechs. but some gear that costs little or no energy is crazy good. previously i was only able to do well with the starting squad and even then i'd only done beaten itonce, but since yesterday i've beat it with the ice guys, the rusting mechs and the starting squad again.
