You're describing the coastline paradox. The measurement in the meme doesn't actually measure the coastline, it measures the 'grounding line' where the ice freezes solid all the way to ground. AS a result, it would massively 'dull' the complexity of coastline and reduce the coastline paradox effect you reference.
But isn't it true, that if Antarctica was the 'shoreline of the world pond' it would necessarily have to be larger than the equator?
