They also love ideas like ''Americans don't read their own manuals'' or ''the British lose every battle except the last one''. Like a good underdog story against these superior villains. I think even in their wartime rhetoric it was all 'we shall keep calm and persevere against superior odds'' instead other nations are more like ''we are already the best, agree or else''.
