Sure, you may say that we have decreased diversity which is integral to the health and stability of life. At first blush, there is wisdom to this. Having an overabundance of particular strategies makes the system fragile to rapid change. Consider, however, that the fossil record indicates that rapid periods of diversity increase occur immediately after mass extinctions. Perhaps we are setting up for the mass extinction event, or perhaps the ecological influence of humans is miniscule compared to the impact of prior mass extinction events. Either way, life has come through prior such events and will likely do so as long as the sun rises and sets over this world
