The subject of our physical reality has to be solved with physics, not with science fiction models and imaginary Forces™ and 96% Dark Matter™. No one needs to give you some other fiction to replace the old fiction. No one has ever measured a physical water-curve, it was simply conceptualized and indoctrinated into your mind, all based on optical atmospheric effects on the Z-axis exclusively.
Just by looking at the very physical basis one can see that the globe is entirely fictional. Also by looking at the ridiculous moon physics that has to speed up and slow down constantly, and all the other planets that magically only hold on to the sun but never mess with each others Gravity™, and work like a perfect clock for millennia. That's all just Stargate and Star Trek in your head. Reality is you can go to Yr Wyddfa and see 90° to the vertical out and see with good conditions with a telescope or high zoom camera towards the Alps that should be 46 miles hidden behind a physical curve. That's actual science that you can verify without a Scientist™ priest telling you what to think. These tests are done all over the place, they are objective physical reality, and there is no curve in the horizontal either. The issue is only that you subjectively don't like the results.
Now the globe model "discovered" the newest Refraction™ that supposedly straightens 700 miles of supposed physical curve and makes it "look" level. That's high-level cognitive dissonance and bamboozlement, not physics. Calm water mirrors the sky in perfect proportions all the way to the optical horizon. It's flat, and your assumptions and models are simply wrong.
