>>3784972>>3784973>>3784974I'm currently doing intermittent fasting and keto.
Keto diets are easy to follow once you kick the sugar/carb cravings. I eat meat/eggs/bacon, lots of nuts/seeds, and veggies.
For veggies I stick to cauliflower, broccoli and spinach. I also sometimes drink a greens powder and chia seeds (for fiber) with unsweetened almond milk.
For IF, I started doing 16/8 because its easiest. After a week I worked up to 19/5. Now I fast 22-23 hours a day and only eat for 1-2 hours. I don't count calories, but I do roughly estimate what I eat. I consume roughly 1700-2200 cal a day in my 1-2 hour feeding window. Counting calories not as important but still dont want to overeat.
As you become fat adapted, hunger is very minimal and its so easy to do now. I feel amazing everyday with lots of energy and focus. I can sit for hours and crank out work, I have to force myself to take a break. I also save money because I have to buy much less food, and save time because I'm not cooking/cleaning and grocery shopping as much. Been losing about 3-4 lbs a week. Need to lose 30 more pounds.
