It's not about pure superiority. Everyone is purely themselves after all. It's about my maintaining the similarity of my group's identity, which is sacred and a source of immense power. Someday these standards will be formalized in a certain place, and everyone else will simply not be allowed to go there, but they'll have all the rest of the world to do whatever they want.
