Since the announcement of the B1 Tournament a period of unusual stillness seemed to have fallen upon the Divine Mansion, meals were being taken away from the usual dining room, workouts that would usually be taken in pairs or in small groups were now solo activities, even the usually rowdy outdoor pool had fallen silent. It wasn't that there was distrust or suspicion in the air, merely the uncertainty that an Angel may choose to participate in the tournament and how such an act may be interpreted by the WWA World Champion. Although it hadn't been explicitly stated one would assume that the winner of the B1 Tournament would receive a World Title shot for their efforts - would Priscilla Divine rather fight an ally or an enemy? Nobody knew and as far as Amy Flame knew nobody had asked. Maybe it was nothing, maybe it was all in her head, but things felt 'off'.
The deadline for entry into the gruelling round robin tournament came and went and with no DA member participating things seemed to return to normal rather quickly, showing no signs of further visitations from the mysterious Coco Amy had spotted Nikki Kade running from place to place filming herself in front of various backdrops for some kind of secret project. Ghost Sapphire, who had been absent for a little while, had reappeared - well, not literally - but Amy had noticed more obvious signs of her presence around the mansion recently which had caused Amy to begin talking to her out loud again, even the staff had become used to Amy jogging the long corridors of the mansion conversing with nobody.
Sipping from a can of soda Amy took a detour into one of the gyms to find Colby Jefferson working out unusually hard. After watching silently for some time the redhead waited for her teammate to finish a set of squats then approached wielding a towel and a water bottle. Dabbing the sweat from the brunettes brow with a smile Amy spoke first.
