I feel the same way, though no bridges have been burned really, I just never had them to begin with, sitting in my hole..
the crushing realization that you might be stuck comes at the worst times too, like in the middle of the night, makes it hard to sleep
you're often not stuck, probably almost all the time, I hope anyway
