I think people tend to be assholes till proven otherwise. It seems to fit in general if you look at the world, far better than to think man is such perfect and super nice as default.
So i'm not a fan of man, and why i use monkey is well, like it or not even the lighest skin person is a monkey, just a very advanced one. Some just act more like our more primitive cousins. Which i find disgusting and reprehensible.
