I know that Hanako posted characters from several of the same anime that Bigu has posted before (like Tsutsukashi Tsukiko from Henneko and Yukinoshita Yukino from Oregairu). I did notice all that even before you'd linked that thread to me. They are, however, characters from very popular 2010s anime, whose pictures are quite easy to find even on normalfag-ish websites like Facebook and AminoApps.
There is the possibility that Hanako is somebody other than Bigu, but even if it happened to be him, I don't think he should be treated the same way as her.
There is also the possibility that Bigu did it because he is looking for new chatmates, that maybe he's gotten bored of the same usual circle of 6-7 people who always come to his threads and stick to their usual sets of positions and have already known traits. It might be possible that he wanted to meet somebody different. The world might not have that much variety in it, but one can always find people who have odd combinations of things or ideas or personal experiences under the bag.
Even if Hanako was only aiming for getting people to give her (him?) donations, you would not really raise the possibility of her(?) getting being able to get any followers if you make your presence around her too obvious, since you're already a poster with a known identity who is easily recognized on /r9k/ (and /bant/ too).
Now, if your intention is to sabotage any attempt Hanako could ever have of making friends or making people join her cult of wrist cutting and penisposting, then I guess you might be on the right path (well, "right" in terms of more likely to be effective, not in terms of being morally correct).
