I think I can maybe see this because I'm also a musician and have been a huge music fan since I was a child. Although I have to say I'm more into heavier alternative shit, so most of your music is too poppy for my tastes. I have nothing against internet culture music trends vaporwave and meme mixes and so on... But wtf is that Avril Lavigne cover dude? I think your original music is much more interesting and I'd drop the pseudo-nostalgic meme shit.
But I did enjoy "Harsh Words" quite a bit! Even tho to me it would still sound much better if you'd steer it into new wave Joy Division style hypnotic coldness or make it more abrasive and go into industrial rock influences, but your songwriting is spot on. Even though it's not my genre and too commercial sounding for me, the emotional delivery of the lyrics and some clever moments in the composition makes it an engaging listen nonetheless.
What are your main musical influences? A lot of emo probably?
