There is probably a rate of admixture that is optimal while incest ofc is always damaging wich in my mind explains the natural human tendency to xenophobia or any other animals but it isn't that high and depends on cirumstances. Stranded on a small island they gonna murder you while another culture they will happily let a foreigner fuck their women. We live in a culture of more or less forced "open society" but protecting those that do not want that would actually be very important for the gene pool because genetic differences are what counts when you have a problem that the majority couldn't solve, like a fringe immunity to a wordwide epidemic could save the human race one day. But it would actually be harder to not have other indigenous races join our western than to protect those few that don't want to.
