Socrates was venerated as a Christian very early on during the birth of Christianity. Platonic Christians were those that "lived by reason" before Christ's time. Even if they were self-ascribed pagans in life, this alone did not disqualify them from accepting the blessings of christendom. As demonstrated by Saint Nicholas and Justin the Martyr.
Socrates and the platonic Christians are often featured on Roman Cathedrals for this reason so there's no distinction to be made here. Your "argument" is a non-starter. Christian morality and socratic morality have been one in the same as early as the religion was first put to paper.
