Even when they spend time locked away I think they act as a resource leech on our tax dollars and even then these people could still hurt people inside the jail. Just remove the problem. And of course not every crime should warrant death, but major crimes for sure. Only if there was less bureaucracy which made it where the legal process for the death penalty is actually financially competitive for the state.
