Stock up on non perishables, get solar panels batteries, and use prepaid 5g data plans to use on the coast, or starlink. Get a sturdy boat designed for circumnavigation with a really heavy bottom (like the 26' westerly griffin, picrel) so you can sail out into the deep ocean whenever you want. While you're doing your thing, scout out some abandoned islands that you can escape to when the nuclear apocalypse starts.
