it's just a question of whether i have a big enough base of knowledge to dive into anything that deep yet. i'd prefer to do something linguistic but that might not be realistic since cultural topics wouldn't require me to be as fluent in the language.
advisor might also just tell me that i can't do one until i finish my next class lol.
