Seselj is of Jewish origin (possibly Sephardic from Italy) and by his mother Danica Misita [125] ( Messite - Crypto-Jewish family from Polish Galicia as well as his father's Sessel family [63] ; also: Misita abbreviated from Misitano as in the native place common [ 29] name for the Crypto-Sephardim from the southern Italian province of Messina).
